Why You’ll Love It
This is the dark roast for people who love big, bold, earthy coffee. Our Sumatran Mandheling delivers deep cedar aromatics, rich dark cocoa, and subtle fruit-like sweetness wrapped in a heavy, velvety body. Low acidity, huge depth, and unbelievably smooth—this is everything a classic Sumatran should be.
Bold enough for dark-roast devotees. Smooth enough for everyday drinkers.
The Story
Finding the right dark roast matters. We wanted something rich, earthy, and unmistakably Sumatran, but still clean and enjoyable without bitterness. This Fair Trade Organic lot from Koperasi Buana Mandiri immediately stood out—layered, complex, and beautifully processed using the traditional Wet-Hulled (Giling Basah) method. This unique Indonesian technique enhances body and produces the signature earthy richness Sumatras are known for.
It’s big. It’s bold. It’s classic. And it anchors our dark roast lineup perfectly.
