A Story of Growth and Sustainability:
Peru is rapidly becoming a leader in specialty coffee, thanks to its rich Andean soils and high-altitude farms. Cajamarca, in particular, is emerging as a standout region for quality production. PeruNor, in collaboration with local cooperatives, ensures that farmers maintain their Fair Trade, Organic, and Rainforest Alliance certifications by implementing natural farm barriers and sustainable growing practices.
Peru’s coffee industry has historically been challenged by limited infrastructure, but passionate producers and cooperatives are changing that narrative. With improved farming techniques and a focus on quality, Peru is producing exceptional coffees that rival the best in the world.
Crafted with Care:
The coffee is handpicked, washed, and fermented in open-air tanks for 12–18 hours before being washed clean of mucilage. Depending on the farm, drying may occur on patios, raised beds, or in parabolic dryers, ensuring a clean, consistent cup.
